Imagined or real: SONGWALK is an invitation for a shared city walk, a shared moment of singing. Connected through vibration, repetitive, hums, with the other, the city, ourselves, never having both feet off the ground at once.

Rahel Kraft is a musician, performance and sound artist born near the Lake Constance. She works with organic audio, electronics, text and visual media and creates performances and installations with a focus on the physical experience of sound. A recurring question circles around the fragile limits of perception. Her creative process includes graphic scores, field recording, improvisation and experimental recording techniques, which often result from an intensive examination of a place, its acoustics and atmosphere.

Rahel Kraft ist Musikerin, Performance- und Klangkünstlerin, geboren und aufgewachsen in der Nähe vom Bodensee. Sie arbeitet mit organischem Ton, Elektronik, Text und visuellen Medien und kreiert Performances und Installationen mit einem Schwerpunkt auf der physischen Erfahrung von Klang. Wiederkehrend geht es dabei um fragile Grenzen der Wahrnehmung. Ihr kreativer Prozess umfasst grafische Partituren, Field Recording, Improvisation und experimentelle Aufnahmetechniken, die oft aus einer intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit einem Ort, seiner Akustik und Atmosphäre resultieren.
