Die kanadische Klangkünstlerin Stephanie Castonguay untersucht elektronische Audio- Schaltkreise als physikalische Prozesse und Phänomene, die eine fühlbare, hörbare Spur hinterlassen. Sie wird sich während eines Produktionsaufenthaltes der Erforschung der Wechselwirkungen von elektronischen Energieflüssen und der Umgebung widmen.
Die in Montréal lebende Klangkünstlerin Stephanie Castonguay untersucht elektronische Audio- Schaltkreise als physikalische Prozesse und Phänomene, die eine fühlbare, hörbare Spur hinterlassen. Sie experimentiert mit LowFi Elektronik und Audio-Schaltkreisen. Ihre Herangehensweise ist organisch und praxisorientiert. Castonguay hat sowohl Musik als auch Kunst studiert, aber den Umgang mit elektronischen Anwendungen autodidaktisch erlernt. Sie verbindet ihren akademischen Hintergrund mit diesem DIY-Ethos. Angetrieben von diesem „Do-It-Yourself / Together“ -Ansatz war sie auch eng in ein kreatives Solidaritätsprojekt wie SONDES eingebunden. Im Laufe der Jahre hat sie an zahlreichen Residencies in Kunstzentren und Fablabs teilgenommen.

Montréal-based sound artist Stephanie Castonguay explores electronic audio circuits as physical processes and phenomena that leave a tangible, audible trace. She experiments with low-fi electronics and audio circuits. Her approach is organic and hands-on. Castonguay has studied both music and art, but is self-taught in the use of electronic applications. She combines her academic background with this DIY ethos. Driven by this "Do-It-Yourself / Together" approach, she has also been closely involved in a creative solidarity project such as SONDES. Over the years she has participated in numerous residencies in art centers and fablabs.
